And now for the fun part of researching! Exploring and listening to the music you are researching. Playlists can be another example of primary sources becuase they feature songs or full albums. Music is physical proof that a musical style exists and that a scene or alternative culture was created. I felt that "playlist" needed it's own category.
Music has an important place in my life. As such, I am always making playlist for activities like commuting to work, traveling, studying and sleeping. The link below will lead to a playlist I made on Spotify to help me focus on library school. My playlist features many bands from rock, hard rock, heavy metal, extreme metal, and post-punk. I also have other genres like folk and world music. If you like what you hear, you can explore those bands on any other streaming service or YouTube.
